Have passion in life!
In my blog I hope to bring up lifting stories about people I meet along the way. I will change some names to protect the privacy of others. But there are so many people in our circles that work so hard to get a head that it is very uplifting to watch them on there journeys.
My first blog hits very close to home.
Dealer Service Academy is a training company founded by Jack Lupo, my husband, and Shawn Ryder. These 2 men have worked together for over 10 years. There was the owner of the company, we will call him Todd, who always had an ego but he was a good person with high ideals. Well thru the years he has gotten side tracked and the guys could always real him back in. It has been a challenge for years but manageable. Then the last 2 years he lost his integrity and I will not get into details but what a horrible experience that is when you know someone for so many years you work shoulder to shoulder with and then poof! Lies, deceit, hiding, being secretive and very odd behavior! When this happens to a friend and colleague you just keep hoping that he will wake up and do the right thing but when he doesn’t…. you start praying for miracles…. Well that is what happened to our guys, Jack and Shawn kept thinking they had to hang on and had to hang on. After all, this was their friend and he owed them both major money he wouldn’t leave them out to dry. Here is Joce, Shawns wife, and I hoping they let go! Or that this person wakes up… Well he didn’t and that was the best thing that could have ever happened. This is where the journey begins…
DSA is born June 2010 the nicest men with the best work ethic make there move. They resign and start there own company. They each have such awesome qualities, integrity, honesty and the work place love them. What they find out is that within a few months they are the guys everyone wants to work with and they deliver the service that there accounts and manufactures are looking for. The follow up and contacts they have and there good names in the industry have taken them further than even they thought possible. They never bad mouthed there former business associate that would self destruct on its own. So I am here to say Good guys do finish first and I will have a front row seat to watch it happen. They will probably never see the money that Todd owes them but they do hope the best for him and his journey.
We all learned a big lesson we don’t have to have a lot. But if you start with the knowledge of how to do good business. Thats as good as it gets. Jack and Shawn have a passion for what they do and they love what they do it shows everyday with each new success…. Radar and Mr. AP love the journey.
Do good business and you will reap the rewards!
If everyone had the attitude of gratitude life would be great!
